Meet the team!
Not to toot my own horn but I graduated top of my class with a degree in Massage Therapy from Williston State College in 2011 and have offered therapeutic massage to the Parshall and Minot ND areas since then. I help people relieve pain of injuries, stress, and body discomfort as well as help maintain good bodily and mental health. I am licensed by the North Dakota Board of Massage. I am also certified in Deep Tissue, Frozen Shoulder Release, Pregnancy Massage, and Bellanina Facelift Massage & Body Wraps.
I happily help our a wide variety of clients ranging from individuals looking for relaxation to people that have serious injuries or trouble areas. I offer Swedish, Prenatal, Hot Stone, and Hot Bamboo (super fun) modalities but my speciality is Deep Tissue. I incorporate hot towels into my treatments to help muscles relax for deeper work and of course to pamper my awesome clients. I love seeing the healing benefits of massage and I also offer other more Spa-like treatments including facelift massage, body wraps and paraffin treatments.
I decided to study massage after a 15 year career in the IT sector. (Information Technology.) I found that fixing computers all day just left me stressed our and unable to leave work early. After receiving a massage as a gift, I became so relaxed and stress-free and I knew this was my calling and not IT work. I wanted to make a real difference in peoples lives, not just how fast they can get onto Google.
I started my practice (Knead To Relax) in Parshall, ND and recently opened a second location in Minot, ND. (My primary location now.) In addition to running my business out of home, I have provided chair massages at numerous Health Fairs and "positive posture in the workplace" demonstrations for multiple office classes at a local community college, and on-site corporate massage.
